PTC Bake Sale

Dear Parents,

Our PTC is sponsoring a Bake Sale during the Parent-Teacher conferences on Wednesday December 3rd and Thursday December 4th. Please help us by contributing baked goods as well as purchasing them. 

Baked goods donated may include: Breads, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, cakes, pies and store bought items. 

Please label baked goods with nuts as we do have students with allergies.   

Please package your items for sale and price, for example 2 cookies in a Ziploc bag for 50 cents.

What Is Scrip?

Scrip fundraising is a no-selling program that

enables families to raise money for their

non-profit organization. Scrip is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks, and credit cards.  Great Lakes Scrip Center offers over 300 of the country’s biggest brands, including grocery, department stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, home improvement, and more. 

How scrip generates revenue for Lobbestael PTC

You purchase gift cards from your organization at face value, and your coordinator orders those cards from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a reduced price. The difference is an instant rebate for Lobbestael PTC. It’s really that simple!

What to do

·         Complete attached order form

·         Return to school by Friday, November 1st with a check (payable to Lobbestael PTC) for your total order amount. 

·         Gift cards will be delivered the week of Nov 25th.

Support Lobbestael through Give with Target!

Target is donating $5 million to schools nationwide as part of its annual “Give With Target” campaign. Target will distribute the money to schools based on the number of votes from shoppers on the company’s Facebook page.

How can you help?

Simply select our school from the list of eligible schools and vote for it weekly until September 21 or until $5 million has been awarded, whichever occurs first. We have already met the required 25 votes to start, qualifying our school to receive $25. Each additional vote equals $1 more so please spread the word to your friends and family!

Voting is limited to one vote per person per week. Search for the Give With Target app on facebook.com.

Tyson Project A+, Support Your School!

We have exciting news! Lobbestael is participating in the Tyson Project A+™ program, a fund-raising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. Through this program, we can raise money towards supplies,building improvements, school programs, or anything else we choose. It’s an easy way to raise much needed funds by sending Tyson Project A+ labels from products you probably already buy.

Here’s how it works: Just clip and collect Tyson Project A+ labels from participating Tyson® product packages and send them to school with your child. We’ll collect the labels and send them to Tyson Foods, and Tyson Foods will send our school a check. Each label is worth 24¢!

You can also find details online at ProjectAPlus.tyson.com. Don't forget to spread the word to your friends and relatives. It’s such an easy way to raise much needed funds for our school!

Spring Basket Raffle - Follow UP

Thank you to all those who donated an item to our Basket Raffle.  We had many nice baskets to raffle off. We made approximately $725 and it wouldn't have been possible without the generous donations of so many families. Congrats to the families who won!

Spring Bake Sale - follow up

Thank you to all those who baked items for our bake sale which was a huge hit. We made approximately $550 and it wouldn't have been possible without the delicious baked goods. Thanks to all the workers for your time, the bakers  for the goodies and the buyers of the treats! Your help & contributions were much appreciated.

Lobbestael Basket Raffle

The PTC will be holding its annual Basket Raffle during spring conferences on Thursday, March 21^st.

Please consider supporting the PTC by donating an item to help create a themed basket to be auctioned off.

All baskets will be displayed during conferences and the raffle winners will be chosen at the end of the day. 

(Winners will not need to be present at the drawing.)

Baskets themes per grade are:

The Fun Run committee would like to thank all of the wonderful parent volunteers that gave their time the day of the big event. We could not have put on this event and had it run so smoothly without your help, and we are very appreciative!

We would also like to thank the children, their families and friends for supporting them and Lobbestael. We are so fortunate to be part of an amazing school with such wonderful families.

To help encourage our students we were very thankful to have received so many great donations from our community. Because of their generosity we will be able to treat a number of our students with special prizes. The PTC will be holding the raffle during school soon and we can’t wait!
